HOMECARE
CompaneraCR is here to help our elderly live their fullest lives through our in-home care services. There are many benefits to receiving care at home like individualized care plans, staying in a familiar and comfortable area, and maintaining connections with one’s family.
We want to help your aging loved ones live their best lives every day. With our services, we can help your loved one maintain a healthy and good quality of life, all in the comfort of their own homes. Our services are personalized, and quality-guaranteed for all of our clients.
All of our caregiving staff are trained for each level of care that is provided whether basic care is needed or more specialized care. Each staff member goes through extensive training in order to properly provide service with love and compassion in mind at all times.
Our team is trained on how to appropriately handle everything from bathing assistance, medication maintenance, meal preparation, and even laundry services.

HOME NURSING
Home care nurses or in-home nurses are qualified to administer medications, injections and provide medical treatment, and care related to health conditions including diabetes, tracheotomy, respiratory, colostomy, dressing injuries and many other home care services.
Our private duty nurses are certified to perform several advanced medical tasks such as:
- Colostomy care and urinary catheter maintenance
- Administering medication including injections, inhalants, eye drops, oral, and topical medications
- Setting up and maintaining a medication schedule
- Providing advanced care training for family members
Our private duty nurses are available whenever you need them. From scheduled nursing visits to hourly care, someone is there to help 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We work with your loved one’s medical team to offer the professional support he or she needs.
SPECIALIZED CARE
The difference between a good day and a bad day is often a familiar and stable home environment and an experienced and skilled caregiver. We’re here to help.
Compassion and support are the two things that clients coping with cancer tell us they need most. However, it is not just about the care that the recipient needs. Family members also need support and respite to maintain their own health so they can better look after their loved ones.
Our care managers and caregivers provide that consistent support by offering:
- Emotional support to help patients and their families get through the day as well as possible
- Taking care of the many daily tasks associated with taking care of a patient
- As required, sometimes preparing special diets and nutritious meals
- Assisting with transportation to doctor’s appointments and treatments
- Staying with clients through chemotherapy treatments
- Helping with indoor and outdoor exercise assistance when possible
- Providing respite for a spouse and other family members that needs periodic breaks from care
Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body.
The cause of MS is still unknown. Scientists believe the disease is triggered by environmental factors in a person who is genetically predisposed to respond. MS symptoms are variable and unpredictable. No two people have exactly the same symptoms, and each person’s symptoms can change or fluctuate over time.
One person might experience only a few of the possible symptoms while another person may experience many more symptoms. Because fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of MS, everyday activities can become more difficult.
Other symptoms include difficulty walking and making small movements, trouble with memory, weakness in arms and legs, and depression. Any or all of these can make it hard to keep-up with ordinary activities such as getting to medical appointments, running errands, visiting friends, grocery shopping, simple housekeeping tasks, personal grooming, and preparing meals.
Effective care strategies can help modify or slow the disease, treat relapses, manage symptoms, improve personal functions and safety, and address emotional health.
Our caregivers can help patients better manage their daily lives while addressing this sometimes very difficult disease
A stroke can be an extremely challenging medical event to cope with and recover from. Patients must simultaneously overcome physical, cognitive and emotional challenges and many stroke survivors report frustrations with the recovery process.
Our in-home services can help ensure a successful recovery at home to maximize long-term independence and help patients recover more comfortably and more quickly
We‘ve provided dementia care and Alzheimer’s to many people living with mild to severe impairment. The difference between a good day and a bad day is often a familiar and stable home environment and an experienced and skilled caregiver.
We’re here to help. Your loved one’s comfort and most importantly, safety, are our focus. Many times, people with Alzheimer’s or other dementias communicate through non-verbal means, or have different language skills.
Our caregivers are trained and experienced in connecting with their patients and communicating throughout the stages of dementia.
We are committed to long-term caregiver relationships. Most of our clients choose to have the same caregiver for several months, if not longer.
Our consistent staffing allows your loved one to build a bond with their caregivers and care team and think of us like family.
Diabetes is a serious disease that requires constant management, but when that management is successful, senior diabetics can live long, healthy lives.
When a senior’s diabetes is not properly cared for, however, he or she is at a higher risk for major complications such as heart disease and stroke, blindness, kidney disease, and even amputation.
If you are concerned that your loved one may need help managing his or her diabetes care, CompaneraCR’s home care can be an invaluable service that provides you with peace of mind and your loved one with the
daily care, encouragement, and the assistance that he or she needs.
Parkinson’s is a complex disease that affects each patient differently.
Effectively caring for a Parkinson’s patient often requires a multi-discipline approach including personal care, medication management, physical therapy, and exercises.
Give us a call if you would like to learn more about our Parkinson’s care programs.
CompaneraCR’s Palliative Care services are focused on managing symptoms, improving the quality of life, and alleviating the stress of patients and their families at an advanced level of illness.
With our trained staff, we aspire to create opportunities that can help patients with an advanced level of disease to spend time with their families and enjoy the comfort of their own home.
The diagnosis of a serious illness can be shattering for the individual as well as his/her family. It is a difficult time and can be followed by long-term treatment and medication. Treatment can be spread across months and even years in which patients stay at home with frequent visits to the hospital.
With complications of disease and treatment, it often becomes challenging for family caregivers to tend to the patient along with their home and work responsibilities.
Our job at CompaneraCR is to relieve you and your family of the stress of caregiving to an ailing family member.
We have a team of caregivers specializing in palliative care to manage the seriously ill and terminally ill patients within the comfortable environment of their own home.
With knowledge of Palliative care and active collaboration with patients’ primary medical practitioners, our staff members, including oversight by our doctors, empower people to better navigate through the tough times.
Whether you or a loved one is transitioning directly home after a hospitalization or moving through the care continuum via a rehabilitation or medical care facility, one-on-one home care is crucial for a safe and successful recovery.
We’ve helped many patients through this transition and can help your loved one too.
We design need-based plans for the Palliative Care Services.
As Palliative Care can begin at any stage of the illness and remains until the person is under treatment for a certain condition, it is often a long-term care program.
Our staff members are available 24/7 to take care of the patient and can take prescribed actions in case of severe pain, vomiting, nausea or any other related disease.
We ensure that at each stage of an illness, particularly terminal illnesses, that the patient can lead as comfortable a life as possible both physically and mentally.
